Lee Bay (2 miles) is a lovely place to paddleboard or kayak around the stunning coastline and offers excellent rock pooling opportunities when the tide is out. Known to be a mecca for surfers, Woolacombe Beach is only 4 miles away and boasts 3 miles of glorious golden sands. Take a stroll around the pretty seaside village, with an array of shops, cafes and restaurants or sit on one of the many benches with your fish and chips, watching the sun set across the ocean. Walkers will be spoilt for choice with the South West Coast Path on the doorstep, or you can take a trip to Exmoor National Park (12 miles) and explore the magical moorlands and woodland walks, spotting Exmoor ponies, red deer and other wildlife that roam freely across the moors.
