Walkers can enjoy splendid coastal walks around the Cartmel Peninsula (3.5 miles), Humphrey Head (2 miles) and many more. Other great places to visit are Bowness-On-Windermere (16 miles), Hawkshead (18 miles), Coniston (19 miles), or Ulverston (13 miles).
