Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life with a stay at this quirky, modern abode in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. Ideally suited to friends and family, the property offers a great selection of areas to socialise, as well as quiet corners where you can enjoy a book in peace, all boasting spectacular views. Embrace your picturesque surroundings with an invigorating walk at Coed-y-Brenin Forest Park (8 miles) – here there’s a little something for everyone from mountain biking trails and children’s play areas to waterfall pathways and orienteering courses. With a calming ambience, the living room encourages you to take the weight off your feet, sink back and relax on the cushy sofa with your loved ones. Warmed by a stylish wood burner, this is a perfect spot to catch up with friends and share stories. As with many of the rooms in the property, a large floor-to-ceiling window frames the views with two chairs set out to ensure you can soak up the natural beauty of your surroundings. The kitchen/diner has been finished to a high standard, pairing nuetral tones with an array of natural wood furniture and tasteful decor, which will have you feeling at home from the moment you step inside. Two large bi-folding doors open out onto the balcony, offering fresh air whilst you cook up a family feast, and far-reaching views to set the scene for the dinner table. Three bedrooms are located on the first floor, starting off with the double bedroom with a beautiful en-suite shower room. A set of two chairs and a small table offers the chance to unwind while looking out through the doors and over the treetops – a wonderful way to start the day. Two further bedrooms include a second double and a twin room, both decorated with an eclectic mix of furniture with an industrial theme for a fun flourish. These rooms share a charming bathroom, featuring a comfortable bathtub which is the perfect antidote to a long day on your feet. Meander out to the enclosed garden to cook on the BBQ, or simply sit and sip hot chocolate as you watch the sun go down and soak in the tranquillity of this spot. Make for the coast with a trip to Barmouth Beach (8 miles) for a dip in the turquoise waters or stroll along the sand with the sea stretching in one direction, and the mountains in the other. Avid walkers may wish to embrace the opportunity to walk the Wales Coast Path towards Harlech past Morfa Dyffryn Beach to admire the rugged scenery and panoramic viewpoints. For a challenge, you could tackle the mighty peak of Snowdon (29 miles) which climbs to a height of 1,085 metres, or hop aboard the Snowdon Mountain Railway for a more leisurely climb with equally impressive scenery.
