Or if you’ve brought the kids and are in want of bucket-and-spade beaches and family attractions, Woolacombe Beach is less than 1 mile from your doorstep and offers a 3-mile stretch of golden sand that merges into the sheltered cove of Putsborough - also an excellent beach for surfers. In the village itself, you’ll find every amenity required for a relaxing, well-catered break, or head over to Croyde (5.5 miles) for its uniquely laid-back coastal atmosphere and welcoming establishments.
