This attractive house in Fakenham is set in a charming town in North Norfolk that boasts a range of shops and eateries, and a famous racecourse. It is perfect for couples or a small family looking for a country getaway where they can bring their dog and explore the best of the Norfolk countryside and coast. There are lovely walks to be had at Sculthorpe Nature Reserve, less than 3 miles away. Set over two floors, this Grade II-listed property was renovated in 2022 and is part of a complex of three houses. The house is light and airy and has an inviting and contemporary feel. On the ground floor, there is a spacious kitchen with all the appliances you need to prepare a light snack or a hearty meal. There is a dining area that comfortably seats four guests, so you can chat for a while over dinner or, if you prefer, move into the living area. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating to relax on and a Smart TV, making it an ideal place for a cosy evening as a family. The ground floor is completed by a shower room. When it's time to retire after a busy day, head upstairs where you'll find two king-size rooms with plenty of storage space. Step outside, and there is a patio area with garden furniture, you can enjoy your morning coffee or dine alfresco on warm, beautiful evenings. The house is ideally located for exploring the North Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with picturesque coastal villages and towns such as Brancaster, Cley, Blakeney and Wells-next-the-Sea all within 17 miles. Holt Country Park (14 miles) is a great place for a family day out and a stroll, while Holt itself is a pretty Georgian town full of independent boutiques, cafes, art galleries and antique shops. Take a trip to Sheringham (12 miles) and ride the North Norfolk Steam Railway, or head to Blakeney National Nature Reserve (14.5 miles), home to England's largest grey seal colony.
