Drink in the panoramic views of the Derwent Valley as you ascend past the rugged limestone cliffs via cable car at the Heights of Abraham, then stretch out in the ambient warmth of your flickering flame-effect gas fire and catch up over a tipple. This well-presented property boasts a warm country interior with vibrant splashes of colour, warm wood, and welcoming social areas. Shed coats and boots at the door, then scope out the lounge. Flop down amongst the plump scatter cushions with a brew or raid the books and games selection. With plenty of seating, this is a wonderful space for unwinding together in the evenings with a crowd-pleasing movie on the Smart TV. Pour a drink and potter in the crisp shaker-style kitchen as you whip up a comforting spread. Don't miss a visit to the charming town of Bakewell, 9 miles, to admire the impressive architecture and load up on the local delicacy.
