Set in the heart of Bakewell, the home of the famous Bakewell pudding, this is one of the best locations in the Peak District for an authentic countryside experience with the convenience of everything you need on your doorstep. Wonderful old buildings, character shops, meandering rivers and a host of dog friendly pubs and restaurants. Just under 5 miles away is Chatsworth, offering walks around the extensive grounds, an adventure playground and working farmyard. There is also an array of walks, small and large, to enjoy as you explore the area. If you want an adventure with a difference, then one of the many caverns with its natural wonders and local Blue John stone can be found at Castleton, which is 13 miles away. Enter this charming and well-equipped cottage to find a cosy lounge with comfortable sofas, flame effect gas fire and Smart TV, a perfect spot to relax of an evening. The large kitchen/diner is an impressive space to gather and enjoy a tasty evening meal together. Each room is light and airy, with lovely contemporary touches throughout. When it is time for bed there are three bedrooms: one king-size and two doubles. They all have an individual style and a relaxing ambience, with Smart TVs, and plenty of storage.
