A fantastic base for walkers and cyclists who are keen to have a variety of amenities within the immediate village with four-legged friends being very welcome here too. The High Peak and Tissington trails are within easy reach with cycle hire just 3 miles away. Footpaths and bridleways abound, the walk from Hartington down Beresford and Wolfscote Dales, alongside the River Dove and onto Dovedale, is rightly considered to be one of the finest in the area. Excellent use can be made of the extremely scenic bus service which passes through local villages, enabling keen walkers to catch a bus out and walk back to the cottage. Stepping into the cottage leads you into the cosy lounge which has a wood burner effect electric fire, Smart TV and comfy sofa just waiting for you to sink into after a hard day's hiking and exploring. Head upstairs to find the kitchen/diner offering a wonderful spot to plan your day’s activities. The double bedroom offers everything you need for a good night's rest. There is also a modern en-suite bathroom – don’t forget your bubble bath to make the most of the facilities on offer.
