Walk through the double entrance and wipe down muddy paws and kick off your shoes in the porch. Inside, there is a bright dining hall with wooden floors and a table and chairs. The lounge is comfortable with a high wooden ceiling, two comfortable sofas, a chandelier and a Smart TV. The farmhouse-style kitchen is stylish and well-equipped. Also on the ground floor is a single bedroom and two bathrooms. Upstairs is a double bedroom and a king-size room with large traditional windows. Outside is an enclosed garden with furniture and a BBQ. The village of Whitewell is famous for being the oldest pub on the island, dating back to the 15th century. It also offers plenty of scenic cycling and walking routes. The nearby town of Ventnor (2.5 miles) is on the seafront and has plenty of eateries, shops and attractions to explore – including botanical gardens and two museums. Niton (1.5 miles) and Godshill (3 miles) are also worth a visit for their thatched cottages to admire and tea rooms. For nature reserves and beaches, head to the Isle of Wight Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (2 miles).
