Up to two guests and two canine companions can stay in this characterful and stylish property in a sleepy Derbyshire village. Fill your time with outdoor adventures in the nearby nature reserves, visits to the local historical attractions and traditional pub dinners. On entering, you’ll notice a calming atmosphere created by the neutral-toned walls, wooden accents and boho-style soft furnishings. Step into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner and admire the vaulted, beamed ceiling and a stylish take on a country cottage interior. The neutral-toned kitchen boasts an island with a breakfast bar and an intimate dining table for two. On the other side of the room is a cosy lounge with a green sofa and footstool in front of the TV and a contemporary wood burner. Walk through the glass doors into the garden room with rattan furniture and a hanging seat. Completing the interior is a king-size bedroom and a shower room. Outside, you’ll find an enclosed garden with furniture and a BBQ. There is private parking for two cars. After taking your four-legged friends to sniff around the paddocks surrounding the property, head into the Bluebell Wood (1 mile) which comes alive with vibrant blooms in spring. Spend an afternoon in Crich Tramway village to see the nostalgic tramway museum (4 miles) or stroll around Chatsworth House and Gardens (17 miles). Pop to Matlock Bath for sky-high views from the Heights of Abraham cable cars (9 miles). Venture into the Peak District National Park to follow the Winster to Bonsall Path (11.5 miles) or to walk around Robin Hood’s Stride (17.5 miles).
