This spectacular area offers the perfect location for walking and cycling, with nearby Stanhope just three miles away featuring a local pub/restaurant, shops, and a cafe. See one of Britain's most breathtaking waterfalls, the 21-metre-tall 'High Force' in Forest-in-Teesdale (12.5 miles) and learn about the area's rich history at the award-winning Killhope Museum and Weardale Museum. For outdoor enthusiasts, the vast Hamsterley Forest (14.5 miles) offers mountain biking, walking, and horse-riding trails for all skill levels. This luxury cottage sleeps six and welcomes up to two dogs, making it perfect for families or groups of friends for a memorable getaway. The property has been beautifully designed throughout with lovely artwork and fun pieces evoking its working history. Step through the front door into the light and airy hallway before heading to the first lounge with its warming wood burner, comfortable seating, and Smart TV.
