A hidden escape on the edge of the Tamar Valley AONB, this mid-terrace cottage has been splendidly renovated to create an instantly appealing holiday home with a fabulous garden at its rear. The accommodation sleeps four guests across two lovely bedrooms, one of which is neatly tucked away in the property’s attic with views out across the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty from its window. The property is just 1.5 miles from the vibrant village of Gunnislake, a locale sat on the edge of the River Tamar with pubs, shops and incredible walks around it. Its train station (1 mile) is part of the Tamar Valley Line which connects a collection of villages to the waterfront metropolis of Plymouth (19 miles). Authentic beams and exposed brickwork contribute to the rustic charm of this otherwise modern, renovated home. Sit in the open-plan living space with a lounge, kitchen and dining space, all kept cosy and warm thanks to a wood burner positioned in an original fireplace. Whilst compact, the kitchen is prepared for all your meal prep. Choose to dine outdoors in the garden space, taking the stairs up to a secret seating area that’s tucked away at the top.
