They are the perfect spaces for enjoying a family film night or warming chilly toes and paws beside the roaring open fires and wood burners. Answer the call of rumbling tummies in the spacious kitchen/diner which features a breakfast bar for intimate dining; there’s an impressive separate dining room for those bigger gatherings. Head into the light-filled conservatory to lose yourself in a good book before retreating to bed upstairs, where you have four characterful bedrooms to choose from. Outside the property is a nature enthusiast’s dream, with an acre of private, landscaped gardens, a seasonal vegetable patch and a pretty patio to enjoy. The picturesque rural village of Swanton Morley is nestled in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, boasting some beautiful riverside walks to magical waterfalls and nearby fishing lakes, perfect for keen anglers. Head to the historic market town of Dereham, just over 4 miles away, to grab some of the area’s best local produce from the weekly market on Tuesdays and explore the array of independent shops and cafes. Soak up the rich history of the area at Houghton Hall (23 miles) or Holkham Hall (24 miles) and stroll through the extensive gardens and parkland surrounding them.
