Discover your surroundings on foot or by bike, venturing beyond the village of Ednaston to tread the pretty cobbled streets of Ashburton (7 miles), or try your hand at water sports at Carsington Water (9 miles). Weary from your expeditions, a roaring wood burner awaits for sociable evenings dining and relaxing in style. High vaulted ceilings, elegant furniture and a soothing colour palette gives this property a stylish appeal that blends in effortlessly with the timber beams. Warmed throughout by a crackling wood burner, you’ll feel right at home whether you are sprawling on the sofas with the papers, or catching up on your favourite shows. Prepare a feast in the kitchen and light candles at the table to make dining even more special, or retreat outside to embrace al fresco dining with a BBQ. The summer house is well-stocked with board games and books, ready for you to grab a pew and unwind. Closer to home, Birch House Lakes have over 10 fishing lakes set within 15 acres, providing a stunning space to cast your line for a fee.
