Ednaston fishing lakes are just a short walk away. The market town of Ashbourne is within a 7-mile drive; lined with cobbled streets and old buildings, this traditional market town offers many fine spots to wine and dine, as well as boasting an assortment of captivating antique shops. Carsington Water (9 miles) offers waterside walks, cycle hire, boat fishing and water sports and, for adrenaline junkies, Alton Towers is within 15 miles.
