Close to the centre of Sedbergh, this pretty, canine-friendly cottage is in a brilliant location for enjoying the town and exploring the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District with your friends or family. The restored weaver’s cottage has a peaceful patio garden, a homely open-plan living space, and a separate snug with a cosy wood burner. Tucked down a lane off the high street, the property is smart and stylish throughout and has been furnished with great attention to detail. Step inside the snug, the perfect cosy space to relax with a wood burner and relaxed seating. Then go through to the lounge/diner with comfortable sofas, a Smart TV and a dining table and chairs at one end for sociable mealtimes. Next door is the well-equipped contemporary kitchen which features stylish units and wooden flooring. Up the winding stairs, you’ll find the bedrooms: two classically tasteful super-king-size rooms – one has an en-suite shower room, and one has a Smart TV, along with the family bathroom. Outside, you can sit and relax in the sunshine with a cool drink in the patio area in the old commercial yard. Wander around ‘England’s Book Town’ and explore Sedbergh’s many book shops, visit the pubs, fish and chip shop, and weekly market. Look around the exhibitions at Farfield Mill (1 mile) or even have a go at a craft workshop there. The spectacular Cautley Spout Waterfall (4.5 miles) is a must-see and can be combined with a pretty walk, and there are almost unlimited walking and cycling trails in the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District. Kendal is only 11.5 miles away on the edge of the Lakes, and keen golfers are catered for with Sedbergh Golf Club just 1.5 miles away.
