The village is on the cusp of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, just 4 miles from the popular town of Pickering. Within the village is a family-run 18th-century inn serving bar food and real ale (check for opening times), surrounded by endless walking and cycling routes over moorland and through woodland. Dalby Forest is 17 miles distant, or head to the coast (22 miles) and the possibility of strolls with gorgeous views or energetic hikes with dramatic scenery.

This is an attractively furnished ground-floor apartment. Other than the single step to get into the barn, there are no further steps. Heading through into the open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen area, the kitchen is fully equipped should you want to rustle up a hearty meal.
