Enjoy paddleboarding and rowing on Coniston Water, picnic on the banks or visit the shops and museums (13 miles). Visit the picturesque, unspoilt Duddon Valley and take the ultimate drive over England’s steepest road at Hardknott Pass. The green train station can take you up the coast where you can visit the Ravenglass and Eskdale steam railway. The local pub and park are just 2 minutes walk from the door.
