Cross the road to access the Coquet River riverside for a romantic stroll with a picnic. You can visit the magnificent Cragside House and Gardens (1.5 miles) for a lovely day out and see amazing views of the Cheviot Hills and Northumberland coastline from the top of the Simonside Hills (6 miles). Drive to nearby Alnwick (12 miles) for market day, shops and restaurants, the fantastic Castle and famous Alnwick Gardens, and the sandy beach at Alnmouth (17 miles) is perfect for a barefoot walk and paddle. This apartment for two has the feel of a welcoming cottage as you step through into the bright and spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, and a washer/dryer; you can enjoy meals sitting together at the dining table. The lounge features a stone fireplace with an electric wood burner style heater for cosy nights in. Snuggle up on the comfortable sofa to watch a movie on Smart TV or relax in the chair with a good book. At bedtime, head through to the pretty bedroom decorated in tranquil colours and enjoy a good night s sleep in the king size bed. The stylish en suite shower room has a walk in shower and WC.
