Spend time exploring the hiking trails of Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, visiting the North Wales coast and discovering nearby historic market towns. As you enter the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, your eyes will be drawn to the large feature window with bi-folding doors that open onto the garden. Let the outside in while you prepare a meal on the glossy white surface tops of the sleek, neutral-toned kitchen with an island. Beside this is a rustic wood and metal dining table with seating for six beneath low-hanging contemporary lighting. Walk across the heated floor to reach the snug lounge area with a large ‘L’-shaped sofa and comforting soft furnishings. There is also a convenient utility room and three spacious bedrooms with ensuites, consisting of a king-size, double and twin, plus a separate WC. Outside, you’ll find an enclosed landscaped garden with a hot tub, sauna, plunge pool, furniture, fire pit and an outdoor kitchen. The rural location of this property, near the small village of Hirwaen, means that you’ll be surrounded by nature and the countryside. Head to the historic market town of Ruthin (3 miles) and treat yourself to a meal out at an independent eatery, check out the boutique shops and enjoy a history fix at the two museums. Take Fido for a run around Coed Y Felin nature reserve (9 miles) or challenge yourself to a slog up to the 1,821ft Moel Famau summit (9.5 miles). Stroll along the sandy shores of Rhyl Beach in the traditional town of Rhyl (19 miles).
