And in the evenings, you can sip sundowners on your own private terrace overlooking the town. A flight of steps leads from the harbour to the cottage. Arranged over four floors, you’ll find a cosy cottage full of traditional features and boasting fantastic views. Enter into the kitchen/diner, where you can whip up delicious meals with local produce to enjoy together around the dining table. Cottage-style stairs lead to the adorable lounge, with its beamed ceiling and comfortable seating arranged around a wood burner-effect electric fire. Another flight of stairs leads to the twin bedroom and bathroom and on the top floor, you’ll find the king-size bedroom, which has a cute seating area for enjoying the views across the town and out to sea. A door leads from the lounge to a small, private terrace – the perfect spot for relaxing with a glass of wine at the end of a busy day. You’ll find so much to see and do in beautiful Brixham. Be sure to take a moment to investigate the Golden Hind in the harbour – this full-size replica of Sir Francis Drake’s ship is one of the town’s most popular attractions. If you fancy a dip in the sea, head down to Shoalstone Beach for a swim in the tidal pool. The town is also a great place for trying a whole host of water sports, and you’ll find many companies offering everything from paddleboarding to jet skiing.
