Grab a spot on the window seat where you can sit with a good book and watch birds frequenting the garden or join them outside, taking a seat under the delightful pergola. The kitchen/diner is a sociable spot to spend time with family or friends and is distinctly farmhouse in style with its cream-coloured units and electric range cooker. Don’t miss glorious Beadnell Bay (6.3 miles) for water sports, sand dunes, and views of Dunstanburgh Castle. Further afield, the 12 landscaped acres of Alnwick Gardens (16.2 miles) are home to the world’s largest Tai Haku cherry orchard as well as the world’s largest treehouse restaurant.
