The property has a reverse-level layout, to really make the most of the surrounding scenery. On the first floor is the spacious lounge/kitchen/diner, with its impressive vaulted ceiling and exposed oak trusses. Spend quality time together in this sociable space, enjoying delicious meals around the table and having movie nights in front of the TV/DVD. Downstairs, you’ll find the two bedrooms: one double, and a second bedroom with a single bed and bunk beds. Outside, sip a glass of wine on the terrace and admire the fabulous setting. Ilfracombe is a fascinating town, with a rich history, picturesque harbour, and excellent choice of independent cafes and restaurants. Wander amongst the pastel-coloured houses, sample some of the local ice cream, admire Damien Hirst’s Verity statue, and head down to the sea at Tunnels Beaches. Enjoy a family day out at Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park (4 miles). Meet the lions, wolves, and penguins, before going on a dinosaur hunt in the gardens to spot the life-sized animatronic triceratops, stegosaurus, and T-Rex.
