Enjoy the rolling countryside, cosy evenings in and the coast of Cornwall from this charming cottage close to the River Fowey. It sleeps four guests and welcomes two dogs, ideal for a much-needed break for the whole family. This pretty stone cottage has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished, providing a lovely base to enjoy. The bright lounge has plenty of comfortable seating as well as a warming wood burner to keep you toasty on chilly nights. The spacious kitchen/diner is the perfect space to socialise, cook, eat and play games together. The property boasts two bedrooms, one of which is king-size and the other a twin room – both are upstairs, along with a shower room. Outside, to the rear of the home is a delightful, enclosed garden with both a lawn and a patio area. Enjoy a kick about on the grass or dine alfresco using the garden furniture and BBQ. Located in a rural location, you will have peace, quiet and tranquillity. The nearest convenience shop and pub are 1.5 miles away, and the lovely coastal village of Polruan is 3 miles. From here, take the passenger ferry to Fowey, a charming port town on the estuary that has shops and eateries. If you love to walk, head out on foot and join the South West Coast Path which cups the coastline through here. Take a trip to the beach at Lansallos or the National Trust’s Lantic Bay, both 3 miles away. For a fabulous family day out visit the spectacular Eden Project (11.5 miles) or the superb Lost Gardens of Heligan (20 miles).
