After fun-filled days, return here for lazy afternoons in the gardens and relaxing evenings bubbling beneath the stars. With its warm interiors, stylish decor and inviting tones, this coastal bungalow has a homely and welcoming ambiance. With granite worktops and all the amenities you need to cook up a storm, the handsome kitchen is a delight to prepare meals for family and friends. Dine inside or out, with an elegant dining table set beneath a large window and a picnic table in the enclosed rear garden. There’s plenty of space to relax and unwind too, with a cosy lounge complete with wood burner, a sunny conservatory that’s ideal for curling up with a cuppa and your current read, and an outdoor hot tub in the wraparound garden. When bedtime calls, take your pick from two comfortable king-size bedrooms or a room with adult-sized bunk beds. A family bathroom completes the interior. With activities for all ages, Fairbourne offers a great all-round base. Practise your swing on the 9-hole golf course, or ride the cute narrow-gauge railway along the length of the beach to hop on the passenger ferry to Barmouth. From here you can pick up the 9.5-mile Mawddach Trail, a walking and cycling route along the picturesque Mawddach estuary. Hikers are spoilt for choice with the footpaths of Snowdonia all around.
