Treat yourselves to a Northumberland coastal break, with a stay at this three-bedroom holiday home on the outskirts of Seahouses. Sleeping six guests, and also welcoming a duo of dogs, this generous, light-filled property is just over 0.5 miles from the harbour, where you can book boat trips, and 1 mile from the beach. Savour your proximity to a wide range of shops and eateries. Return home to play in the games room or bask in the sunshine out in the south-facing garden. Make your way inside this inviting retreat and head through to the lounge, where you can relax together after your busy days out. Switch on the Smart TV; play games together and perhaps light the open fire. Wander into the open-plan kitchen/diner to take turns at whipping up hearty feasts and to dine together. Find you have a dishwasher and a washing machine to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Amble through to the conservatory to open the doors on balmy days and gaze out over the garden. At the end of each day, climb the stairs to a twin bedroom and two king-size rooms, one with an en-suite shower room and balcony and rural views. The family bathroom is also at this level. Sit out in the leafy garden as often as you choose, while the younger members of your party play snooker or table tennis in the games room. Find you have dedicated parking for two cars at the holiday home, with more roadside space available on a first-come, first-served basis. Embark up a 3-mile walk along the Northumberland Coast Path from Seahouses to Bamburgh. See the striking castle at Bamburgh while you are there. Alnwick Castle, 14 miles away, and Dunstanburgh Castle, 9 miles along the coast from Seahouses, are also worth visiting.
