The historic market town of Skipton is just 2 miles away, and you’ll be within easy reach of some of the Dales’ most-loved beauty spots, including Malham Cove (12 miles) and Bolton Abbey (11 miles). The first-floor apartment forms part of a converted chapel and is reached via a flight of external steps. Inside, discover a holiday home with a quirky sense of style, boasting vibrant artwork on the walls and a fabulous collection of one-of-a-kind accessories and soft furnishings. The central living space is an open-plan, split-level lounge/kitchen/diner, with a feature wall and a characterful beam running across the ceiling. Spend time relaxing here on the plump sofas in front of the Smart TV, or dining together around the elegant glass table. To the far end of the room is a sleek kitchen with everything needed to cater for the group. Two stylish bedrooms and a family bathroom round off the accommodation. Outside, enjoy al fresco dining as you admire the countryside views in the enclosed courtyard garden. Skipton is a vibrant market town with a rich history. Wander along its cobbled streets, popping into the many independent shops and boutiques or visiting the famous Skipton market. There are some beautiful walks in and around the town, including along the canal or in Skipton Castle Woods, or you can explore by steam train aboard the Embsay and Bolton Abbey heritage locomotives. For history enthusiasts, a visit to the 900-year-old castle is a must. After a day of adventure, refuel in one of the town’s many pubs or restaurants.
