The beach is within a few hundred metres, as is a small pier, an art gallery, a whisky shop and the welcoming local pub that serves good meals and drams of the local tipple.

Recently refurbished, this light and airy single-storey property has been decorated in neutral tones and with contemporary fixtures and fittings, while the occasional pop of tartan and quirky artwork adds charm and character. On entering, leave muddy shoes and wet coats in the porch (also home to the washing machine) before stepping into the bright kitchen/diner.
