The immediate area offers amazing off road walking and quiet roads for cycling. The local village of Denholm is just 2.5 miles away and boasts excellent local amenities including a quality Italian restaurant and Coffee Shop, a post office and general store, a butcher, 2 friendly pubs and a garage. The local Market towns of Jedburgh, Hawick, Melrose and Kelso offer an array of visitor attractions and shops or visit the stately homes of Abbotsford, Mellerstain, Manderston, Floors and Thirlestane, all are within easy reach. There are great facilities for Mountain Biking at Glentress and Innerleithen, or explore Kielder Forest and its observatory.
