Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the breakfast bar at the entrance of the stylish kitchen. Make your plans and then head out to make the very most of your time in the Lake District. After a full day of adventure, return to your ground-floor apartment to cook up something hearty for your nearest and dearest in the kitchen. After dinner, make a beeline for the sofa in the lounge. There you can sip a glass of wine and take in the gorgeous fell views, or cosy up by the electric wood burner effect fire and catch up on your favourite TV shows. Alternatively, head out to the local pubs to rub shoulders with the locals. When the day is done, you’ll find two lovely bedrooms – a twin and a double – to retire to. Rent a bike and head to Whinlatter Forest (4.5 miles) to ride some of the best mountain bike trails in England. Alternatively, make your way to Honister’s Via Ferrata Xtreme (8 miles) for adrenaline-fuelled fun, or to Bassenthwaite Lake (6.5 miles) to see the ospreys. In the evening, make the most of the apartment’s convenient location and stroll into Keswick’s town centre (0.5 miles) to sample the local beers.
