This charming cottage has access to stunning shared gardens and is the perfect place for a romantic getaway with your loved one. Situated in a tranquil spot in the village of Chale, you will be well situated to enjoy the beach, hinterland and many walking and cycling routes. Located within the grounds of the owner’s home, this renovated cottage has an open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, a fabulous social space for you to spend quality time together. Rustle up delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen, eat together at the dining table and then enjoy a cosy evening cuddled up on the sofa in the lounge. When you are ready for some shuteye, head to the lovely double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Head outside and wander the communal gardens with mature shrubs and plants, as well as plenty of lawn space. Alternatively, take a seat and dine alfresco on your own private patio. Head to the traditional seaside resort of Ventnor (7.5 miles) which has a wide range of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. There are also some fantastic botanical gardens to visit, and the unique landscape of The Undercliff which gives this area its own microclimate that is considerably warmer than anywhere else on the Isle of Wight. If you are keen walkers or cyclists, head out from the doorstep and enjoy the rolling countryside or the Isle of Wight Coastal Path. Beach days aren’t far either, with Shepherds Chine just 3 miles away or the stunning, sandy Compton Beach, 8 miles away.
