With picturesque, rural surroundings, the sumptuous, five-bedroom property sleeps up to ten guests and a pair of delighted dogs. Set just over 0.5 miles from the village of Lanchester and 8 miles from the historic city of Durham, the property is also about 7 miles from the fringes of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with its myriad of walks and beauty spots. Also pick up footpaths and trails close to the house, including the 12-mile Lanchester Valley Way and the 5-mile Lanchester Roman Walk circular walk, which crosses the site of Longovicium Roman Fort. Let yourselves into the inviting, open-plan kitchen/dining room and put the kettle on to enjoy a cup of tea with a stottie cake you have bought on a trip out. Find everything you need to prepare holiday meals for your party with your own ingredients, as well as a Smart TV and a wine fridge.
