This spacious cottage has an idyllic setting, surrounded by mountains, in South Cumbria. The holiday home makes a great base for keen walkers, with beautiful routes through woodlands and nature reserves directly from your front door. You’ll also be within easy reach of the coast, with Grange-over-Sands just 6 miles away. The property sleeps ten guests across five bedrooms, as well as two furry friends, making it the ideal retreat for large families and groups of friends. With a large lounge, games room, and snug area, the cottage provides ample room for everyone to spread out during the holiday. There’s also a beautiful garden of mature trees and an expansive lawn, which children and dogs will love charging around on, whilst you unwind on the sunny patio. Steps lead to the entrance porch of the cottage, where you can leave all your coats and boots. Once inside, you’ll be greeted by a bright and airy holiday home, featuring crisp decor and contemporary furniture. The impressive lounge stretches the entire length of the property, meaning there’s a variety of seating areas to suit everyone. Get cosy by the wood burner to read a book or gather around the Smart TV for a movie night. The vast kitchen/diner is a wonderfully sociable space and has everything you need to cater for the group. Come together around the table for ten in the bay window for dinner parties and family celebrations, admiring the tranquil views over the garden. Four of the property’s delightful bedrooms are located on the lower ground floor and two of them have en-suite facilities. The final bedroom is a king-size on the first floor, which also has an en-suite bathroom, as well as a fabulous Juliet balcony overlooking the garden. The games room is on the first floor and is a great place to enjoy quality time together, playing pool or table football. Steps lead from the house to the gorgeous garden, with its babbling stream, large lawn, and ample seating for al fresco dining. There’s off-road parking at the property for five cars.
