This wonderful, single-storey converted barn is the ideal holiday home for two to enjoy the stunning Lake District. Set in the peaceful Eden Valley, there are plenty of walks to go on including around Lacy’s Caves (4.5 miles) and Nunnery Walks (8 miles). Make sure you visit Long Meg and Her Daughters (2.5 miles), a Bronze Age stone circle, as well as Aira Force waterfall (16.5 miles), which are two of the most breathtaking wonders in the area. Take tranquil walks along the River Eden; the best ones can be found between Lazonby (5 miles) and Salkeld (3 miles) and there are plenty of pubs and cafes to visit along the way.

Step into the property and into the beautiful lounge where comfortable seating around the wood burner in a stunning fireplace takes centre stage. Watch TV, play board games or read a book after a long day out exploring, or gaze out of the double doors to the garden on sunny afternoons. Off the lounge, a kitchen/diner has a contemporary country style and has everything you need to cook up a storm including a dining table that’s perfect for two.
