Keen walkers and their dog will enjoy exploring the many footpaths over the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and for those looking to explore slightly further afield, the towns of Hastings and Rye are both a 5-mile drive and have much to offer visitors, from the host of quirky antique shops and cobbled streets in Rye to the beachfront and fresh fish stalls in Hastings. Royal Tunbridge Wells is nearby for excellent shopping opportunities and historic Battle is a great place to visit with its ruined abbey and battlefields.
