Discover this delightful Grade II listed original mill worker s cottage, situated in the heart of Sir Titus Salt s model Victorian village in Saltaire recently used in the filming of the 2022 sequel to 'The Railway Children'. Saltaire is a World Heritage Site and The Saltaire Mill complex is a main feature of the village, which houses a vast collection of David Hockney artworks, along with several cafes, restaurants and small independent shops. The village of Saltaire has many great restaurants, cafes, a deli and boutique shops, as well as events throughout the year. The Saltaire Festival in mid September is two weeks of live music, markets, performance and culture, there is really something for everyone. And Christmas sees the Saltaire Living Advent where houses, shops, churches, and schools dress their windows with festive scenes. The area is a paradise for anyone who enjoys the outdoors with many tracks and trails straight from the doorstep, and the popular village of Howarth with its stunning Bronte Falls walk is only 8 miles away. Stepping into this charming cottage, you are greeted by a cosy lounge with a wood burner effect electric fire, ideal for relaxing in after a long day exploring the local area. Move through to the bright and spacious kitchen with a delightful coffee nook, one of the original features of the property. Retreat upstairs to the beautifully decorated bedroom with a double bed, fully in keeping with the Victorian style of the cottage. To complete the interior is a stylish bathroom with a roll top bath with shower attachment and WC. Moving outside, there is a quaint patio area with furniture, the ideal spot to relax in the evening and enjoy a BBQ or glass of wine. There is off road parking at the rear of the property for one car and further roadside parking at the front. There is also a shed for secure cycle storage.
