This narrow peninsula, stretching over three miles and curving between the North Sea and the Humber Estuary, offers a unique blend of natural beauty and rich biodiversity. The nearby Discovery Centre serves as a gateway to the reserve, featuring a welcoming café and offering a variety of guided experiences including bird tours, wildlife and military safaris, and access to the historic lighthouse. The area is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, with frequent sightings of migrant birds, roe deer, lizards, and seals basking on the shore. Fossil hunting is a popular activity along the beach, where pebbles conceal ancient treasures. Renowned as one of the UK’s top migration watchpoints, Spurn Point is especially vibrant in spring and autumn, though its sweeping sea views and invigorating walks make it a year-round destination for nature lovers and adventurers alike
The first-floor accommodation is accessed via a flight of stairs which leads to a lounge/diner with comfy seating surrounding the Smart TV/DVD and drop leaf dining table. The kitchen offers everything you need to rustle up a hearty meal during your stay including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. There are two bedrooms to choose from, a king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a 3ft twin on request) offering lovely field views, and a double bedroom. Completing the property is the bathroom which offers a shower over the bath and WC. Although there is no private outdoor space, a dog-friendly beach lies within a mile, and scenic walks begin right from the doorstep.
There is a washing machine located in the outbuilding. Foldable chairs are provided and it's recommended to make the short 1-mile walk to the beach during your break. Designated parking for one in the car park, with additional road side parking subject to availability. Please note this apartment is located over an office which may be manned during office hours
