The peaceful village of Mamhilad is well served with a good village pub. For walkers, there are waymarked paths available from your front door, along with a circular walk that will guide you through open fields and rich woodland up to the Folly Tower. Just 5 miles away you will find Usk with many charming old buildings, a wonderful Norman castle, a rural life museum, beautiful churches and a Town Trail which includes 28 sites of historic interest. Golfers are spoilt for choice with access to Green Meadow Golf and Country Club, Woodlake Park and Golf Club and St Pierre Golf Course. This area is surrounded by breathtaking forests and hillsides where you can also access the Wye Valley and Brecon Beacons. Visit the market towns of Abergavenny (8 miles) and Crickhowell (15 miles) where you can browse the independent shops and sample some local delights in the many and varied eateries. This spacious retreat sits within the grounds of the owner s home, offering spacious accommodation that s perfect for couples.
