Close to the banks of the River Helmsdale before it flows out into the beautiful Moray Firth, this cosy property is ideal for friends and families exploring this stunning part of Sutherland. Decorated in tasteful, warm and welcoming neutral tones, this beautifully furnished holiday retreat features a light-filled conservatory, sociable dining room and two delightful lounges. A wonderfully relaxing holiday base, the cottage offers stunning Highlands views. Entering this attractive property, you will find the conservatory which makes a great space to enjoy a morning coffee, plan the day’s activities or unwind in at the end of a great day. Exploring further, the main lounge is a lovely space to sit back and enjoy a movie, chat into the night or catch up with a good book. There’s also a second snug lounge with SkyTV, ideal for children and teenagers wanting their own space. The spacious dining room is perfect for sharing a favourite family meal which you can enjoy cooking in the sleek, fully equipped kitchen. The ground floor also features a cosy single bedroom as well as a refreshing family bathroom. Heading upstairs there are three further bedrooms, all decorated in light, soothing shades. There are two doubles and a twin room, all with TVs. You will also find an additional shower room and a bathroom. Stepping outside, the garden has a lawn and a driveway with ample space for four cars. The garden has a low boundary wall and is not fully enclosed – care should be taken with dogs and children.
