Snuggle up on the sofa in the open-plan living area in front of the TV among peaceful grey and white tones, or curl up in an armchair with your favourite book for a cosy night in. The children will love Paultons Park (14 miles), home of Peppa Pig World - one attraction that’s not to be missed. If you’re not travelling with little people, Beaulieu (21 miles) might be more appealing; the village is home to the National Motor Museum, but you can also hire canoes on the river or take the 16-mile round walk to Brockenhurst and back where you’ll see horses and ponies grazing in the fields. Make sure you visit Salisbury Cathedral (12 miles) and Stonehenge (22 miles) before you head home.
