While away the hours pottering around the characterful village, exploring its artisan shops and quaint eateries. Don your finery and enjoy a day at the races at Cartmel Racecourse (just 100 metres away) or blow away the cobwebs with a seaside walk at Grange-over-Sands (2.5 miles). The luxurious accommodation is sleek and stylish yet has plenty of character thanks to quirky design features and elegant accessories. Spend pleasant nights in together in the lounge, snuggled in front of the wood burner watching your favourite film on the Smart TV. There’s also a handy snug, again with a Smart TV, which is ideal if you have children staying with you who’d like a little independence in the evenings. The spacious kitchen/diner boasts a large seating area so you can enjoy mealtimes together. Nearby Holker Hall (2.5 miles) makes a lovely day out. Admire the fine display of antiques in the grand house and wander around the majestic gardens.
