Sink into the plump sofa or curl up in the round armchair to warm your toes in front of the wood burner and watch your favourite programme on the Smart TV/DVD. From here, take a 6-mile circular walk to the pretty settlement of Miller’s Dale, on the banks of the River Wye. Enjoy a hearty meal in the riverside inn before joining the traffic-free Monsal Trail for the second leg of your walk. Castleton is full of history and well worth exploring. Take a hike to the summit of Mam Tor for spectacular views, before heading underground to marvel at the magical show caves.
