A stone-built property with loads of traditional and interesting features, boasting a central location and sleeping four guests, this is the perfect place for families and friends to visit Northumberland. You’ll be close to the beach and superb coastal paths during your stay. Relax on the comfy sofas in front of the warming wood burner set in a stone fireplace in the airy lounge. Head through to the kitchen which has original stone flooring and feature range built into the wall. The dining area is in a magnificent, vaulted ceiling conservatory/summer room that overlooks the church spire, making mealtimes memorable. It also has a mezzanine area with seating for guests wanting to take some time out. A spacious shower room completes the downstairs while the two bedrooms are upstairs. Head outside and enjoy a morning coffee on the patio table while you plan the day ahead. You will be right in the heart of Alnmouth, which has a good mix of shops, cafes and restaurants. The wide, sandy Alnmouth beach is just 200 metres away, perfect for soaking up the sun on a summer’s day. Enjoy a game of golf at Alnmouth Village Golf Club or take a walk along the Aln Estuary and bay. Hop in the car and head to Bamburgh (21.5 miles). Visit the imposing Bamburgh Castle, drifting sand dunes or the Farne Islands before picking one of the many eateries in the town. The Northumberland Coast is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which can be admired and explored on the coastal paths running through the county.
