Loch Cottage Colvend is a dog friendly holiday cottage.
This lovingly restored villa has a private garden and views towards White Loch. Family or friends will love this location; it is perfect for keen bikers, golfers and sailing enthusiasts and those who just want to switch off and get away from reality. Known as ‘The Secret Coast’, there is a pottery studio and a farm shop close by and as well as nearby coastal paths and there is a lovely forest walk from Colvend to Dalbeattie which is worth exploring. As you enter the cottage, you will find a large, bright open-plan lounge/kitchen with wood burner and comfy seating; this is a fabulous social space in which to relax and catch up. There is a more formal lounge off the kitchen area which has views towards White Loch, as well as a Smart TV and and wood burner-effect electric fire. The kitchen is made even brighter with the large roof skylights and is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Heading up the stairs to the first floor, on the mid-landing you will find a bathroom with shower over the bath and WC. On the first floor there is a king-size bedroom with dual aspect windows offering views over the open countryside and garden. Also on this floor is a small shower room with shower and WC and a pretty twin bedroom with views over towards the loch. Outside, there is an enclosed tiered garden with a lawn and patio area; it is a peaceful place to sit out, read a book and relax. Lockable bike and golf club storage is available. There is private parking to the front of the house on the gated drive for two cars.
