There are lovely country walks from the property, including a popular hike up to the Lumsdale Falls making this the ideal base for those who enjoy the outdoors. Bring your bikes and enjoy the off-road cycling tracks for those who like exploring on two wheels. Matlock Bath is a well-known resort on the River Derwent, visit popular Heights of Abraham cable cars, enjoy fish and chips, and numerous entertainments throughout the year. The Matlock Bath illuminations and firework display are especially popular in autumn bringing in the crowds and lighting up the sky. A little further afield Bakewell and Chatsworth House, provide a wonderful day out exploring the local businesses that line the streets.

Head up a flight of external steps to reach the first floor to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The open-plan space is warm and inviting and offers a comfy sofa perfectly placed in-front of the gas wood burner and TV just waiting for you to sink in and put your feet up. Rustle up a meal in the kitchen which offers electric oven and gas hob, fridge and dishwasher and nearby dining table, an ideal place to enjoy a special meal with a loved one. Head downstairs to the ground floor where you will find the super-king zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made into twin upon request) with floor to ceiling windows that let the light flood in and complimenting bedroom furniture.
