The nearby market town of Bridport offers a good selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants as well as an eclectic arts scene and vintage market where you can seek out some treasures. The coastal village of West Bay is also an ideal spot to while away an afternoon, as you can watch the fishing boats bobbing in the harbour or explore the swathes of beach.

Tucked at the end of an idyllic terrace of cottages, head through the picket gate and around to the rear of the cottage to the main entrance. Once inside you are met with a charming country kitchen, laid out in a galley style. This well-equipped space has a gas hob and electric oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer. Heading through a doorway brings you into the cosy lounge/diner. Full of character features, this welcoming room has a wood burner and TV for those chilly winter evenings in.
