The seaside town of Bude (8 miles) is ideal for surfing, shopping and perusing local eateries. Explore the local history at Lawrence house (13.5 miles), a beautiful, Georgian town house. For parkland walks try Dunsland (14 miles) and for remote moorland, head to Bodmin Moor and climb Bray Down (28 miles). The picturesque harbour village of Port Isaac (21 miles) is also a fantastic day trip.
