This property is a charming three-bedroom barn conversion, situated behind the church at the end of a private lane in Winfrith Newburgh. This cosy and characterful cottage is tastefully decorated and is just 125 metres from a public footpath. Its proximity to the pub in the next village (1.5 miles), shop (0.5 miles) and the coast (3 miles) makes it an enviable location for families or friends to enjoy a relaxing holiday. Enter the cottage into a large hall with space for coats and boots and a handy WC. Off the hall is a bright and airy kitchen that has plenty of worktop space and a table that’s perfect for a quick breakfast. The living area has patio doors leading outside and features exposed brick and wood beams, which complement the furnishings; sink into the sofa in front of the fire on a chilly autumnal evening. At the top of the landing, the bathroom has a separate shower and a small bath for a long soak. Off the landing are three bedrooms; all have wooden beams, so watch your head! A peaceful twin room looks out across the garden, as does a welcoming king-size room that has French doors with Juliet balcony. You’re just 3 miles from famous Durdle Door, and Lulworth Cove is just 2 miles further; spend the day here hunting for fossils and taking in the fantastic views. Visit Lulworth Castle (6 miles) for a stroll around the gardens or climb the tower for spectacular panoramic views of the Purbeck countryside and Jurassic Coast.
