The cottage is located on a no-through lane which leads via a path to the sea at Winspit. The picturesque village of Worth Matravers provides the perfect base for exploring the Purbeck Hills. The stunning Dorset coastline is just a mile away, with nearby landmarks including Winspit Quarry (1 mile), Chapman’s Pool (just over a mile) and Old Harry Rocks (6.5 miles). The delightful seaside town of Swanage (4 miles) features a long sandy beach, a traditional promenade and a pier. Heading inland you can explore several nature reserves including Hartland Moor (6.5 miles) and visit the ruins of Corfe Castle (4 miles) or the impressive Lulworth Castle (13 miles). From the pretty village of Studland (6.5 miles), you can catch a ferry to Poole or to Brownsea Island. The dramatic Lulworth Cove is also nearby (16 miles).
