This former cow byre and grain store is now a contemporary home nestled into the stunning countryside of the Scottish Highlands. Despite its remote rural location, the village of Evanton on the Cromarty Firth is only 3.5 miles away with its shops and eateries, and you’re only 21 miles from the capital of the Highlands, Inverness, with its compact city centre and airport.

On entering the property, you will see that the large hallway opens up into the open-plan living area. The dining area has double doors leading out to the patio, so you can easily enjoy some al fresco dining. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you’ll need and has a large island so that cooking can be a sociable activity. The high vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and an exposed stone wall add character to the lounge, whilst the focal point is the modern wood burner – perfect for snuggling up in front of. The ground floor also consists of a handy utility room, a beautiful super king-size zip-and-link bedroom with floor-to-ceiling windows and an en-suite shower room.
Upstairs, there are two further bedrooms: both super king-size rooms (which can be made up as twins on request) with en-suite bathrooms.
Outside, there is a beautifully finished patio area with dining furniture and a large lawn. The far-reaching views are breathtaking. There is ample off-road parking.
