Located in the Ross-shire countryside with the city of Inverness within 21 miles, this is a fantastic base for exploring the spectacular and dramatic Scottish Highlands. There are many country walks and cycle paths to enjoy, including to the dramatic Black Rock Gorge (1 mile), or take a woodland walk up to the Fyrish Monument (8 miles) for spectacular views over the Cromarty Firth. Black Isle and Cromarty Firth boat trips are great for dolphin and seal spotting (there are several providers in the area). Dingwall (9.5 miles) is a short drive away, well worth a visit for some shopping and a bite to eat. A little further afield, Urquhart Castle, Dunrobin Castle and the famous Loch Ness are all highly recommended as places to visit while you’re in the area.


Stepping inside this beautifully converted, detached steading, you’ll find a bright spacious hallway with natural stone pillars and floor-to-ceiling windows, leading into the impressive open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner.
